Repeatedly post analyst's price target is not going to prevent the stock from tanking. It's a sign of desperatin. Also, the price target is long term, not today's price target. If you truly believe the analyst, which I don't, then this present a great buying opportunity for you.
The question now is will the PUTS maximize today or tomorrow?

I’m watching TIE..( you have to know there is a relationship between TIE, AATI and RTI)....it (TIE).. has a low of 25..well its at 26 and 25 is about 4% lower than that ...so ATI might go 4% lower or 76..it’s aug low..or some such..and then there’s RTI..well it already made a move up.....so RTI might have a down day tomorrow..which is perfect...cause that’ll be a red white red buy signal...and if TIE is closer to 25 than 26...then that might be the buy signal for ATI...cause, yesterday, sure wasn’t the buy signal...cause I got stopped out...
At some point I’m just going to have to buy the ATI jan 75/80 /85 call...and then that’s it....i’ll just have to wait...till it’s in profit...

That just totally breaks all my rules in picking the right strike.....
First of all, if Target doesn’t get to $51 next Wed...
you will lose $60 just on time factor...or 20%....
Second there’s a JAN 52.5 and 55 call...
If the $55 call isn’t selling for 0.90/ $1.05......
then it’s overpriced ..which equals another 20% / 25% trap....these guys are really smart in getting 25% out of your pocket....they are some of the smartest guys in the room....
So I can throw out 50..dumb...52.5...and $55...that only leaves
JAN TGT 45 call = 6.00.....Yeah..!!!...!!!...
now that’s what i call the right strike...delta 80.....
so the remedy...get out of 50 AND BUY 45

I had the price for PUTS at 2.50 and the high was 2.45.
I sold at 2.30 and it did not take any time to execute.
From this action, I am thinking that there may be more profit on the table.
Regardless, I am good with it.
Now if LDK does a U-turn, the CALLS will be good.

I did play your TSO call few days ago and made a decent return,,,, sold a bit early though.. hahah..( i guess its good to lock in some profits) I am definately kicking myself not picking up CCJ and Instead got stuck with DRYS ..... damn! I currently have few jan calls on ITRI and CLB ... I think your CAL call makes a lot of sense... i am looking into the JBX and YUM now... will let you know if I get in... GIGM has their fingers in a ton of gaming/gambling partnerships. one of their subsidiary companies (basically a shell company for GIGM) runs the 6th-largest on-line poker in the world (behind Pokerstars, etc.) called Everest Poker. that is where all the earnings comes from right now. that site is growing by leaps & bounds.
the kicker is all of the deals that are yet to be rolled out: on-line Mahjong wagering; an Asian gaming/gambling platform (pachinko, etc.); they have the rights to sell several yet-to-be released on-line casual games, etc. in Asia - just to name a few deals/partnerships
GIGM will earn $0.95 per share in 2008 WITHOUT any of the deals that are in the works that i just mentioned, meaning GIGM is trading at only a P/E of around 20 while growing at a 5-year expected growth rate of 35%
if any of these deals come on board in the next 6 months, we are talking MUCH more than $0.95 per share
i think GIGM is a $40 stock trading at $20 right now
they are sitting on $35mil in cash (and growing each quarter b/c they are taking in $$ hand-over-fist with the low-overhead poker room) and getting ready to sell off their old ISP business to help pay for the deals they are currently making
I got GOOG to 725 to 750 on the momo
ya need to be getting a commish.....
This is the scenario I can see:
- 30 minutes after market open, LDK goes down to 44.5. Dec 45 call will be around 0.25/contract.
- 1 hr later, LDK bounces back to 45+, then 47 and passes 50. It stays there for a while.
- 1hr before market close, LDK will go higher than 52 and might close at 53+.
How to make money?
1) Buy common stock at 44.75 if you have money, sell at 52+
2) Buy Dec 45 call, spend 2.5k for 100 contracts and sell your option at $7/contract to profit 50K-70K.
I'll do it tomorrow.

Refiners & Uranium
I like HOC, VLO & TSO for refining, crack spread show rise.
For Uranium, I like CCJ, URRE & USU. Unfortunately, there arent a lot of pure uranium plays in the US. SGR is a good play on nuclear as well.

remember LDK has to close 2 gaps, with the one further down between 47 and 51..... so will open low, and go down all day.
Stay away of it...and you can try to buy a bounce next week after the storm has settled and options expired..
similar story stocks.... VDSI, CROX, TSL .... all had 37% hairline cuts after earnings that was close to expiration. I dont know why but it works.... but most of the find support at the 0.618 fibonacci level.
Based on my charting skills, I cannot see any support for LDK until the DMAs are hit, as the uptrend from 26.56 to 75.65 was too quick (just 13 days), so it will retreat at least 61.8% of the move, i.e. to $45.32 or 2/3 of the move to $42.93... which basically is very close to the 50/200 DMAs.

Thank you for the CCJ rec. Bought 15 Jan 37.5 calls two days ago and been smiling, up a couple grand. I think this leg up may start to slow right around $39.50-$40. Do you think it has the legs to go higher or should I just be happy being up 95% in 2 days?

Who is making what here? Beanie is not your broker...only gives you additional remarks about the market and stocks that are hot and have the possibility of being 10 baggers.
The market has been on the downside lately and then the ones who are negative about the market make money... You should have bought those CCJ Calls Z recommended...that would have covered your losses, it did with mine.

I gambled with $1,000 shares of GTOP. We'll see what happens. Pissed though. I bought $1,000 shares at $4.00 and put a stop loss in at $2.25. Announcement of the announcement comes and I walk away from the PC. I come back and my shares were sold. I look at the current price ($3.06) and then I look at the low ($2.25). I was pissed! Bought another $1,000 shares at $2.46. Lost a couple hundred to do it again. This time I have a stop loss at $1.00. My fingers are crossed.
Or you could have had the Z-Strangle on this!!! 100% gain tomorrow....thanks Z....AGAIN!

I still hold quite few CSIQ puts @ 25, expiring tmrw... technically they are worth nothing so far.
And the big name today is RIMM.... just bought an in the money Jan put.

i wanted to wait another 20mins to short it but its losing its strenght, i thought it would go above its recent high of 109, and hit the 50 day MA... but i guess its going to be similar to the LDK story... its weak... so sell the weakness..
look at the chart ... i has over 14 days of selling by the pros between 98 and 100... around 12 point range... it looks pretty obvious...
i dont think this will get a 37% hairline cut... but i have drawn some trendlines... which i will post for you to see on my blog... gimme 5mins
